I searched for 'Cloid' but you're talking about Claude, right?

I was reading about AI and saw something written as 'Cloid,' but I wasn't sure if it was a typo for Claude or a separate service. I think I've made the same mistake when searching a few times myself. Is Claude the official name and Cloid just a misspelling? Or is there a different AI service? If you know, please let me know.

Hi there, this is the site staff. To answer up front, '클로이드' is most likely a misspelling of '클로드' (Claude), a name you may have seen written incorrectly. The official name is Claude, and in Korean it's usually written as '클로드'. Here's a bit more detail. 1. Claude is the official name of the AI assistant made by Anthropic. '클로드' is the widely used Korean spelling, and it's the most common form right now. People who first encounter the name often write it as '클로이드' because it's easy to mishear. 2. We haven't been able to confirm whether there's a separate AI service called '클로이드'. I'm not aware of any major, well-known AI service with that name, but we haven't checked every service, so I won't say with 100% certainty that it doesn't exist. 3. To check whether a post is about Claude, look at three things. Does it mention the company name Anthropic? Is the English spelling Claude? Does the link go to an official address like claude.ai? If there's only the Korean '클로이드' with no English spelling or company name, it's safer to consider the possibility that it's a different service. When you search, using '클로드' or 'Claude' will make it easier to find what you're looking for. When you use the service, it's also best to go directly to the official address rather than a similarly named site in the search results. We've put together a detailed guide on who makes Claude and basic information about the name. https://usingclaude.com/ko/faq/general/who-makes-claude
