usingclaude.com (“the Site”) values your privacy and collects, uses, and stores personal information as described below. This policy may change as the Site evolves; changes will be posted on this page.

1. Information We Collect

  • At sign-up: email address, nickname, password (stored encrypted)
  • Automatically: access logs, cookies, browser/device information
  • For visitor analytics (no cookies used): visited page path, referrer domain, device type, and approximate country. To distinguish unique visitors, your IP address and browser information are converted into an irreversible hash before storage; the original IP address is never stored.
  • Community use: posts, comments, and activity records (level, attendance)
  • Newsletter subscription: email address
  • Contact form: email address and message

2. Purpose of Use

  • Account identification, login sessions, community features
  • Service operation, improvement, and error analysis
  • Abuse prevention

3. Cookies

The Site uses cookies for essential functions such as maintaining login sessions. You may refuse cookies in your browser settings, but some features may then be limited. Google Analytics cookies are also used for visit statistics.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — authentication and data storage
  • Sentry — error tracking and stability
  • Cloudflare — content delivery and security
  • Vercel — service hosting
  • Resend — newsletter and notification email delivery
  • Google Analytics — visit statistics

Each service processes data under its own privacy policy. The Site does not currently display third-party ads; if ads or affiliate links are introduced, that fact will be disclosed in this policy and in the relevant content.

5. Retention and Deletion

Personal information is deleted without delay once its purpose is fulfilled or upon account withdrawal, except where retention is required by law.

9. Overseas Transfer of Personal Information

Because the Site uses the third-party services listed in Section 4, personal information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country. Primary processing locations include Singapore (database and authentication) and the United States (hosting and error tracking); each provider processes data under its own security and privacy policies.

10. Security Measures

The Site applies the following measures to protect personal information:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Encrypted password storage and encryption of identifiers such as access IP
  • Row-level security (RLS) and restricted administrator access
  • Error and anomaly monitoring

11. Children Under 14

The Site is not primarily directed to children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If such collection is discovered, the information is deleted without delay.
