Editorial Principles

usingclaude.com (the “Site”) aims to provide accurate, up-to-date information about Anthropic's Claude. Below are the standards we follow when writing, verifying, and updating content.

1. Sources

Factual statements are based first on Anthropic's official materials — the official documentation (platform.claude.com, code.claude.com, support.claude.com) and official announcements (anthropic.com). When covering something that cannot be confirmed from official sources, we say so in the text, e.g. “according to reports”.

2. Facts vs. Estimates vs. Unconfirmed

We distinguish officially confirmed facts, estimates, and unconfirmed information through wording. We do not state unconfirmed figures or features as fact; where appropriate, we write that something is simply not disclosed.

3. Freshness

Facts that change often — pricing, the model lineup, usage limits — are registered and re-checked on a schedule: key facts are checked daily, and all articles are scanned for outdated statements three times a week. When a change is confirmed, articles are updated against official sources, and time-limited conditions (such as promotional pricing) are shown in a clearly separated notice block. Every confirmed change is published with its date, previous value, current value and source in our docs changelog.

4. AI Assistance and Human Review

The Site uses AI tools for some drafting and for detecting outdated content. However, every published article is reviewed by a human against official sources before publication; nothing auto-generated is published without review.

5. Corrections

When we find an error, we verify and correct the article. If you spot something wrong, please let us know via the contact page.

6. Ads and Affiliations

If ads are displayed, they are visually distinguished from content. If affiliate links or sponsored content are used, that fact is disclosed in the relevant content. Neither ads nor affiliations influence the substance or conclusions of our content.

7. Independence

The Site is an independent publication and is not affiliated with Anthropic. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC; this Site is not an official Anthropic channel.
