What comes up when I search for 'Entropy Claude'? That's Entropy, right?

Anonymous10/7/2026· Views 19
While searching I came across the term 'Entropy Claude' but I'm not sure what it actually refers to. Is it a mistaken reading of the company name Anthropic written in Korean as 'entropy,' or is it a separate feature or model name? If anyone knows whether the company that made Claude has anything to do with entropy, and what the correct Korean spelling is, I'd appreciate it.

Hi there, this is the admin team. To cut to the chase, as you mentioned, the company name Anthropic was very likely misread or misspelled as 'entropy' (엔트로피). As far as I know, there's no separate feature or model called 'Entropy Claude.' To sum up: 1. The company that made Claude (클로드) is Anthropic. 2. Entropy is a completely different term used in physics and information theory, and has nothing to do with Anthropic or Claude. It seems the confusion came from the two words looking alike in spelling. 3. Claude's model names take the form of a tier name followed by a version number, like Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku. No model name containing 'entropy' has been confirmed. 4. I haven't been able to confirm an official Korean spelling set by Anthropic. In Korea, '앤트로픽' is the most commonly used form, so following that spelling should work fine when searching. Searching with the English 'Anthropic' will be the most accurate. If you let us know where you came across the term 'Entropy Claude,' such as in an article or video, we can look at the context and tell you more precisely what it refers to. That said, we won't state anything as certain when we aren't sure. We've put together a detailed guide on what Anthropic is as a company below. https://usingclaude.com/ko/faq/general/what-is-anthropic-who-owns-it
