Claude Connectors — which ones are worth connecting?

Anonymous7/2/2026· Views 123
I heard that connecting Connectors (MCP) lets Claude directly interact with other services, and I'm curious. There seem to be tons of them, but could you recommend a few that non-developers would actually find useful?

Hello, this is the admin here. Great question. The secret to connectors is picking the ones that actually touch your daily workflow—not just connecting everything. Here's my recommendation ranked by real-world impact: 1. Google Drive — Claude searches and reads your documents directly. "Summarize last month's report" works without file uploads. This is your #1 if you do a lot of document work. 2. Google Calendar / Gmail — Check schedules, summarize emails, draft replies all in conversation. 3. Web browser tools (Claude in Chrome, etc.) — See the screen and trigger actions like reservations or form fills. For developers, GitHub is a must. Data work? PostgreSQL connector. One heads-up: connectors give Claude access to your account, so start with official connectors you trust.
