What happened

- 02:22 — Identified: Anthropic announced an issue with an upstream cloud provider affecting Claude Cowork and Claude Code on the web. Some sessions may fail to start or disconnect mid-task; affected sessions can be retried.
- 03:21 — Monitoring: A mitigation was applied and Anthropic is monitoring for recovery. Sessions that disconnected earlier can be retried.
- 05:21 — Resolved: Anthropic announced that the issue affecting Claude Cowork and Claude Code on the web has been resolved.
The incident was resolved at 05:21 KST. Total impact window per the official notices was about 3 hours (02:22–05:21 KST).
Scope
The official notice specifically mentions Claude Code and Claude Cowork on the web. Symptoms are sessions failing to start or disconnecting mid-task. The notice does not separately mention whether Claude Code in the terminal (CLI) is affected. The root cause was announced as an upstream cloud provider issue, not Anthropic's own infrastructure.
