Canva is a design tool that you can connect to AI assistants like Claude through its official AI connector. Once connected, you can request Canva tasks from chat. Canva's official help has a dedicated section for connecting via Claude.
Before you start — check your plan
Per Canva's help, using the AI connector has plan eligibility requirements. Check first in Canva's official help whether your plan supports it and what the scope is (conditions can change).
Connect in Claude
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, connect Canva, and sign in and approve access with your Canva account. For the exact screens, follow the "Connect via Claude" section in Canva's official help. The general flow for adding connectors is covered in How to connect.
What you can do
Once connected, you can request design-related tasks within the scope Canva's official connector provides. What is actually possible depends on the features the connector exposes.
Staying safe · troubleshooting
Check the connector's permissions (MCP connector security), and if it will not connect, see Canva's "can't connect" help together with the troubleshooting guide.
